SAEHAN® Goniometer Angle Measuring Instrument
The Goniometer Angle Measurer is particularly suitable for joint measurement and the assessment of inclination deviations.
The arm lengths of the Goniometer Angle Measurer are 15, 20, or 30 cm. The angle measurer is smooth-running and therefore easy to use. In addition to its pleasant and easy handling, it also provides a secure grip, allowing for reading after removal from the patient. The large head covers a radius of 360° degrees. The size of the head ensures that the readings are easily legible. The complete angle measurer is made of transparent, high-quality plastic material. This material is very robust and ideal for use in rehabilitation facilities, practices, and medical institutions.
There are different versions of goniometers available. There are angle measurers with wide or narrow arms. Additionally, the angle measurer can differ in arm length. Goniometers with long arms (15, 20, or 30 cm) are used for measuring large joints. The special short goniometers are usually used for measuring hand and finger joints and are therefore called finger goniometers. The measuring device generally consists of a reference arm and a measuring arm. The reference arm is placed on the stationary body part, while the measuring arm is placed on the moving body part.
The measurement itself is carried out on major joints such as the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and foot. The measuring procedure can be carried out using various methods.
